Aloha from DJ the DJ,
Hey how's it going Hawaii this weekend I got a real treat I got to watch DJ Reggie G. one of 1st Class's Master DJs on his shows this weekend. All I can say is WOW dam he is so good. He is a truly a master of his craft in all aspects. He performed at three different types of events this weekend and all his events were a big hit ending with a packed dance floor and the crowd begging for more literally. At first I thought that they were saying don't go don't go. I was tripping on a crowd all saying don't go then one of the assistant DJs said they were shouting Hana Hou which is like Hawaiian for more more or encore as we say in NYC. This happened at all three events this weekend one was a Wedding, another was a Graduation Party and Sunday was a Class Reunion. All different parties with the same results packed dance floor all night long and shouting Hana Hou Hana Hou at the end. So I had to know was this a Hawaiian tradition at the end of parties or only when they want more or just don't want the fun to end. Well after viewing the different styles DJ Reggie G. used on each event and I want let you know all events had a different types of music. But DJ Reggie G. was great on every aspect of each party. His emcee skills are awesome making the events flow well and keeping the guest entertained happy and informed. He said to me "this is the difference between a DJ and an entertainer we here at 1st Class always strive to make every event a success so he does not hire DJs who can't emcee as well as spin". Dj Reggie G. runs his show during dancing by himself no assistants no helper he has his system on lock down knowing where everything is all designed to be within arms reach from his special effects to the hot light systems. His show is all automated with some of the hottest gear in the industry. One night he used the Showman system which was a treat for me cause I really want to learn how to use this system. It's so magical and a perfect stage system to wow your guest. I love his pioneer DJ system because I have one but his is top of the line with features I didn't know were available on the pioneer systems. Now sound sculpturing is something 1st Class has been teaching me and trust me it makes a big difference it's really like night and day. 1st Class uses Yorkville Sound and it truly is the best I've heard. They have a few Bose L1 system that they are trying out but I've yet to hear those. Some of the guys say it ok but nowhere near a Yorkville system. Anyway I will do my best to keep you guys updated on the haps on the show tip for 1st Class DJs. Next weekend I go out with DJ Dropz and I hear his shows are pretty good as well. He more into the EM sounds and music festival style. Check in next week for my blog on his shows I hear the girls really go crazy for him so I'm looking forward to being on his shows. Hey I'm single and kinda new to the Islands so yeah. Call 1st Class to book your party before their summer books up it's a guaranteed success for you Party from what I've seen so far.
